Life has been full of little days. Nothing spectacular shakes up our routine, and thanks to the weather and the flu we've spent most of our time indoors. But we have had mini celebrations as Evelyn keeps learning new tricks.
During meals, she points at what she wants and emphatically waves her arms and says "na" to what she doesn't want. She practices using a spoon to eat and she takes sips from a cup.
She likes to hold things up to her ear and say "hiyo." Everything is a phone these days.
When she gets dressed, she knows which arm goes first and switches her toy from one hand to the other.
She is learning ear, mouth, nose, eye .... and how to unroll all the toilet paper.
She loves her ducky stuffed animal. We had to wash it after she was sick, and she raced toward it when it was in the clean laundry.

Cutie! Your little girl is adorable, and it sounds like she's learning so much :) Enjoy the little days--sometimes I think they're the most precious.
ReplyDeleteEven though they are small, it's the little things you never want to forget! What a sweet post about your baby girl!

ReplyDeleteShe's adorable! I love how quickly they learn so many new things!
ReplyDeleteThe phone stage is so much fun! I loved when it finally clicked that we can talk to people and play pretend...and then I was amazed that Behr recognized phones of all shapes and sizes...rotary, cordless, and flip phones, when most of what he sees is my iPhone.
ReplyDeleteThese babies, they sure are smarties.
Aww! "Hiyo" That's adorable!
